Learning and developing

A diverse range of games and activities, in tune to the different ages that stimulate development.

Locally connected

As an ambitious childcare organization, Vlietkinderen is at the heart of our society. We are always looking for added value.

Food and beverages

Vlietkinderen provides food and drinks at the day childcare and after-school care. Children and employees eat and drink together. We ensure that the food and beverages are healthy, tasty, and enjoyable. We encourage interaction, also at the lunch table. Fantasy and fun are allowed, as long as there is respect for the food and each other.

Warm meal service

We like to make it easy for you. On the days that your child goes to daycare, your child can have a nice warm meal with us at noon. If your child has already had the daily portion of vegetables / warm meals at the daycare center, you will not have to worry about it in the evening!

Lunch convenience

At a number of our mid-school care locations, your children can use 'Lunch convenience'. The children eat a fresh bread meal with drinks, fruit and/or yogurt. So you don't have to bring anything from home.

Breakfast service

Hurry in the morning, get dressed, quickly get a bottle, a plate of porridge or sandwich for the road, and hop into the traffic jam. If you recognize this, we ensure that your child receives a healthy, fresh breakfast. This can be a bottle, a plate of porridge and/or a sandwich, depending on your child's age and wishes.

Safety, health and hygiene

Vlietkinderen follows the Childcare Act (de Wet Kinderopvang) concerning to safety, hygiene and health. We pay a lot of attention to this act. Here is an strong cohesion between these things. Specifically, for monitoring children's hygiene and health, the pedagogical employees adhere to guidelines that apply within the childcare sector.

Early Bird | Learning English

Learning the English language has never been so much fun! Learning a second language playfully, it is possible with Vlietkinderen. We work with the English program: Early Bird. With this program, children at our playgroups, toddler care and daycare locations are introduced to the English language in an interactive way.

At Vlietkinderen we think it is essential that children develop in all kinds of skills. Language development also has our attention. Especially at a young age, it is suitable for children to get in touch with a second language. This also stimulates the growth of vocabulary in the 'own' language area. Also, good language development and vocabulary are essential for their social skills.

The happy note and dancing jitters

The happy note (De vrolijke noot)

Vlietkinderen offers fun music lessons for toddlers. These lessons are supervised by Kim van den Heuvel, a pedagogical employee of de Vuurtoren.
