Coronavirus, our measures

Following on from yesterday's report, an update of the actions that Vlietkinderen (from Monday 16 March) is taking is based on the measures taken by the government and RIVM. Our locations are open; we are there for the children and their parents. We continue to offer a safe place so that the social consequences are limited. All peripheral matters (meetings, training, parent meetings, etc.) is suspended. Children with mild respiratory complaints: cough, snot, sore throat, or fever should stay at home and avoid social contact as much as possible. The child is welcome again after 24 hours without complaints. This guideline applies to everyone, including our employees. If complaints develop in a child during the day, we will contact the parents concerned with requesting to pick up the child as soon as possible. To minimize the risk of infection, the distribution of children over available spaces is applied at locations. We work together with our partners in primary education and try to do the best together in these weeks. Employees of our support departments work in shifts or from home. As a result, we may be less accessible by telephone. You can always send your question by email to for more information and questions. Please refer to
